Proactive Prints 2020 @carryout.jhg

2020 has been a year for change, growth, and power as well as being one of the hardest years for many of us in the arts. Creative Director Debra Barrera has curated a group print exhibition exclusively for Carry-Out at Jonathan Hopson that brings together a group of incredible artists from our local Texas community. Barrera's intention for the exhibition has been first and foremost to get artists paid and to also raise money for COVID-19 related causes and Texas non-profit organizations. Jonathan Hopson will be donating 5% of gallery sales to each artist's desired local charity or non-profit that they personally have a relationship with. Each print is reasonably priced and easily shipped flat so that collectors from throughout our community can access a work by these incredible artists.

Artists Included:
Jean Sebastien Boncy, Jennifer Ling Datchuk, Julie DeVries, Steven Evans, Lauren Moya Ford, Brandon Tho Harris, Bradley Kerl, Emily Peacock, Phillip Pyle II, Jamie Robertson

Jonathan Hopson at Onsen Confidential (Postponed)

“I think it’s clear at the present moment that galleries that are not completely profit-driven have got to work together.
“While we each have our various strategies to survive, in coming together we can probably help each other see various blind spots and hash out how we can try to make our situations better.”
- Jeffery Rosen,
Director of Misako & Rosen, Tokyo and
co-founder of Onsen Confidential on Artnet News
